The profile

As Senior Business Controller, you report directly to the CFO and play a pivotal role in steering Cenosco’s financial performance in a private equity backed scale up environment. You are responsible for strengthening performance transparency, improving forecasting quality and safeguarding margin discipline across both the recurring SaaS model and project activities.
You operate at the intersection of Finance, Commercial and Operations, translating business drivers into sharp and actionable insights for senior leadership.

Your scope includes:

  • Subscription performance steering, owning driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis and KPI transparency around ARR, churn, renewals and margin
  • Project governance and margin control, strengthening WIP management, cost to complete discipline, utilization steering and overall profitability insights
  • Forecasting and performance improvement, leading budgeting and rolling forecasts, identifying risks and translating performance gaps into structural improvements
  • Systems and scalability, playing a key role in the ERP transition and further professionalizing the planning and reporting landscape including Jedox

This is a high impact position with direct exposure to senior leadership, where you shape how a fast-growing international SaaS company is financially steered towards predictable and scalable growth.

The ideal candidate

Hard skills and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Accountancy, preferably complemented by RA or RC
  • 7 to 12 years of experience in Business Control, FP&A or Performance Management
  • Experience within a SaaS or technology environment with exposure to subscription-based revenue models and project complexity
  • Strong track record in driver-based forecasting, margin steering and performance management in a growth setting
  • Experience in a private equity backed or high growth environment is preferred
