With the 3 geographical hubs (Netherlands, Scandinavia, Germany), a key strategic driver is to integrate a historically diverse network of acquired clinics into the leading European outpatient care provider. Bergman Clinics will continue their successful buy-and-build strategy in the coming years.
The job profile
In this role, you will be part of the Group Finance Control & Reporting department (3FTE). You and your team manages the group consolidated reporting, accounting, treasury and fiscal affairs. You actively collaborate with the local Finance teams of The Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia, the Group Legal and the Group Quality departments to enable a strong corporate governance and finance & administration environment. Additionally, you will work jointly with both the local and Group Business Control to ensure high quality management reports and insight into the companies’ financial performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the periodic closings, including the consolidation of figures for the entire group with branches in various European countries;
- Responsible for preparing financial statements and reporting to external auditors, including coordinating the audit process and guide local teams on reporting on acquisitions;
- Work closely with Business Control to ensure consistent and accurate data exchange so that the financial performance of acquired companies is well understood and integrated;
- Development and implementation of short and long term sustainability frameworks and strategies (CSRD/ ESG);
- Support group wide SAP implementation and roll out during 2025.

The ideal candidate

A collaborative mindset, lead diverse projects, and a willingness to work with external advisors and specialists are key to success.
- Completed higher degree in Finance or Accounting. Supplemented with a post graduate title (such as CA, ACCA or RA);
- Approx. 6-8 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting, preferably in an international environment or within a private equity-oriented organization, with experience in acquisition processing;
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and/ or Dutch GAAP;
- Experience with consolidation software (e.g., SAP, Lucanet, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus, as well as experience with acquisition processes, including Purchase Price Allocation (PPA);
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into valuable insights for management.
