The EMEA region represents one of the most complex and dynamic parts of the group. With approximately €1.4 billion in revenue, operations across 39 countries, over 3,000 employees and more than 50 legal entities, the region combines scale with significant diversity.
 

The job profile

The EMEA Controller reports directly to the EMEA CFO and acts as a key right hand in managing the increasing scale, complexity and diversity of the region. The role goes significantly beyond traditional financial control. It combines financial oversight, business control, governance, and hands-on involvement in countries and business lines where additional focus is required. The position has been created to strengthen regional grip on performance, improve financial visibility and support the CFO in navigating a broad and complex agenda, including country performance, business line challenges, integration topics and strategic projects. 
 

The ideal candidate

We are looking for a senior finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and international stakeholder management skills.

Experience and background:

  • >10 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment 
  • Background in audit (RA/CPA or equivalent) 
  • Strong background in financial control, reporting and governance 
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and finance processes 
  • Experience in operational or project-driven environments is a strong plus
  • Experience in matrix organizations across multiple countries 

Skills and competences:

  • Strong analytical mindset 
  • Ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders 
  • Capable of improving and standardizing reporting and control processes 
  • Comfortable operating in complex and less structured environments 
  • Strong communication skills across cultures 
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA
