THE POSITION

• To set up proposals and improvements to the Corporate Treasury Policy with respect to the management of currency, interest rate and credit risk (incl. internal check & balances).
• To advise business management on financial risk management  (e.g. currency risk) and trade finance, in line with corporate treasury guidelines, to safeguard the BG and the company from financial risks.  
• To align risk management arrangements with International Financial Reporting Standards (esp. hedge accounting).
• To balance corporate cash positions and optimize corporate financial performance and support revenue synergy.
• To support business management by making contracts in short and long term finance and show “best practices” in cash management, to ensure financial performance while minimizing the related risks.
• To create and maintain investor relations with global players, networking on a personal level with financial institutions, to deal, share expertise and assemble information.
• Team backup when needed and continuously sharing important information with your team members
• Able to travel 20% international.
• Advanced Dutch and English communication skills

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Academic degree MBA
• 6-7 years experience in a similar corporate Treasury Manager role within an international business environment

• Strong advisory skills
• Able to work independently, as well as being a strong teamplayer.
• Able to deal with all levels of management and external contact
• Potential to grown towards a director role
